About the Program |
This stunning company defines a new dynamic lyricism with compelling
voices of passion, and humanity – richly diverse, accessible,
and vibrant. Season premieres include a work by Buglisi, inspired
by the rainforest, evoking images of a dense dramatic beauty,
with a set by Venezuelan artist Jacobo Borges and Foreman's third
collaboration with composer Lisa DeSpain to an a cappella
blues score performed by the acclaimed NY Choral Society.
Repertory highlights include Buglisi's “masterpiece” Suspended
Women , Foreman's radiant Lisa D. and the NY premiere
of Buglisi's Pollen in the Air .
